Recovery Timeline

- Week 1: Swelling typically settles considerably. Dissolvable sutures are used, so no removal appointment is needed. Light activity may be resumed and the surgical garment continues to be worn at all times.
- Weeks 1–4: Most patients return to normal activities as comfort improves. The surgical garment is worn throughout this period, after which Dr. Adibfar will assess whether continued use is necessary based on each patient’s healing progress.
- Weeks 3–6: Swelling continues to resolve and the corrected breast contours become increasingly apparent. Vigorous activity may be reintroduced once cleared by Dr. Adibfar.
