Blepharoplasty
There are a few key features of the eye that are classically feminine. The female eye is generally larger and the eyelid is located a touch higher. The inner side of the eye has a downward slant referred to as Canthal tilt — a slanting from the outer angle towards the inner angle.
Blepharoplasty is a procedure where extra loose skin is removed, tightening the area around the eyes. While it is not directly intended to make the eyes larger, the area will look smoother and more refreshed — softening an otherwise masculine look. Blepharoplasty can be used in conjunction with brow repositioning and eyelid enhancements for the most precise, ultra-feminine look.
While blepharoplasty can dramatically feminize the patient’s eyes, it is important not to neglect the area under the eye. Dark circles and hollowness can make your eyes appear tired and aged — conflicting with the blepharoplasty procedure. A combination of treatments such as fat grafting and dermal fillers can rejuvenate the area. Fat grafting is a safe procedure because it uses tissue from your own body. This makes it ideal because it lasts longer and produces a smoother look than most dermal fillers. When used in combination with Botox, laser rejuvenation treatments and facials; the result is a youthful appearance with flawless skin and gorgeous glow.
